How it works
Shoe size conversion relies on standardised lookup tables rather than a single formula. The EU size is derived from foot length in Paris points (1 Paris point ≈ 0.667 cm): EU = foot_length_cm / 0.667. US men's sizes follow the relation US = (foot_length_inches − 7.333) / 0.333 + 1, and UK sizes are approximately US − 0.5 for men. Women's US sizes run ~1.5 sizes larger than men's for the same foot.
