Smoking Cost Calculator
Smoking is one of the most expensive daily habits. This calculator reveals the true financial cost of cigarettes by breaking down your spending into daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and 10-year totals — giving you a clear picture of how much your habit actually costs over time.
By entering how many cigarettes you smoke per day, the price per pack, and the number of cigarettes in each pack, you can instantly see your annual tobacco expenditure and how many packs you consume in a year. Use this data to set savings goals or reinforce your motivation to quit.
How it works
Cost per cigarette = price per pack ÷ cigarettes per pack. Daily cost = cigarettes per day × cost per cigarette. Weekly = daily × 7; Monthly = daily × 30.4375; Yearly = daily × 365; 10-year = yearly × 10. Packs per year = (cigarettes per day × 365) ÷ cigarettes per pack.
